Responsibilities:
Reef's Quality manager is the primary contact for all quality related matters. This role is responsible for tracking and reporting quality related KPI's, establishing and conducting comprehensive fit and wear test programs to ensure optimal fit and product performance. This roll will also lead management and resolution of REEF in market Quality incidents. The Quality manager has a direct report with our Inbound inspector located at our distribution center in Chino Hills.

• Primary quality contact for Reef global quality inquires.
• Responsible for giving dispositions for inbound inspections.
• Conduct fit and wear test trials a timely manner ensuring product meets or exceeds Reef standards.
• Conduct inspections for 1st production of new product introductions.
• Partner with Development and Commercialization teams to drive product improvement through problem solving and attention to detail.
• Interact with all other rolls within sourcing and product teams to advise, consult, & collaborate as needed to update and support colleagues in the day-to-day business as it pertains to quality.
• Partner and collaborate with other leads and input on establishing group level QA systems.
• Provide quality summary reports for Reef on a regular monthly basis and as needed.
• Coordinate repair efforts between distribution center and 3rd party repair facilities.
• Quality Charge Back Claim management and payment tracking.
• Maintain product confirmation sample library.
• Support the ongoing drive to improve quality in all aspects of the business. This applies not only to our products, but also to the processes needed to ensure we achieve a high level of service and support for our customers both internally and externally.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of AQL method
• Understanding of physical testing and working knowledge of acceptable values needed to make sound decisions related to product integrity and assessing risk.
• Ability to work effectively with remote locations via email, phone, skype, and other media to clearly convey both technical and aesthetic requirements to colleagues with varying language and technical skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with team members across multiple countries and cultures.

• Manage and develop any future direct reports to foster personal growth within the team while building a sustainable organization.
• Understanding of theory and practice of footwear and the footwear manufacturing process and related industries such as leather tanning, Injection and compression molding, soling compounds and their attributes is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. The final offer amount will be determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, and impacted area, and may vary from the amount above. This range also does not represent additional compensation benefits.
